Day 69 - Leviathan Morning

It was another perfect day in paradise, so on my way to work I decided to detour into the area just next to the Queensland Museum and Sciencentre.

There are quite a lot of artworks in this district, and I have a feeling you'll get to see most of them before my Project366 is over.

The work in the foreground is "Leviathan Play" by Ron Robertson-Swann, and peeking through is the beautiful "Sisters" by Ante Dabro.

I love the effect of the sunlight bursting through at the top of the picture, it makes you want to sit on the grass, take a few deep breaths and enjoy the morning.

  1. Love the clarity of this shot, so crisp... And for some obscure reason the song "Some Velvet Morning" written by Lee Hazlewood and performed by Rowland S. Howard / Lydia Lunch springs to mind.

  2. Yes, I love the art gallery precinct. I could spend a lot of time there. The lighting in this photo is great Kelly. Indeed, more please...
