Every polling day I make my way to an out-of-the way booth in a little corner of my electorate.
It's never busy, and there's always a minimum of people trying to force "how to vote" material into your hand.
In the foyer, I met Ian and Margaret who head up the local Lions club.
They were selling a few muffins, cakes, drinks, homemade knitted scarves (one of which is now hanging in my wardrobe), and raffle tickets (that car will be mine).
I love a democracy where you can vote, shop and eat!
What Colour is your new car?
