"Cricket's On The Radio"... but despite the number of cricket matches I've listened to, watched on tv or interrupted with weather/traffic reports, I have never been to a professional cricket game. Never.
Until tonight.
My first ever match was a T20 Big Bash effort between the Brisbane Heat and Adelaide Strikers. The Heat lost.
There were flame throwers, Mexican waves, music between balls, a great atmosphere - oh, and there was some cricket.
This is a picture of the Heat's masco,which bears a striking (albeit green) resemblance to "The Incredibles" villain, Syndrome.
