Woah! That was a cracker of a storm that blew through Brisbane about 4:30 this afternoon.
Flash flooding everywhere, and a creek that was suddenly gushing past my back door.
The rain may have caused some chaos and I hope there's no property damage, but it's quite cool now and the garden is soaking it in.

ReplyDeleteHmm I do wonder what awaits me when I get home from work on rainy days like this. A little trepidation but if the garden sings, then it's got to be worth it.
ReplyDeleteI was walking Belle at the time at Kedron Brooke. First, it was just drizzling and I was thinking "Well, this is nice. It's much cooler with a bit of rain. Quite pleasant, really." Then it began PISSING DOWN!!! Not so pleasant! Haha. Belle and I braved the downpour for the half an hour it took us to get back home! And a special thanks goes out to Tony, two doors up from me, who chuckled, "It's a bit wet out there" as we shuffled past!
